would like to see official medical documentationOriginally posted by GoBearcats31 View Post
Jay Bilas retweeted this morning an apparent sports law guru who shared some screenshots from a filing from Hickman's case petitioning for eligibility. These are just allegations, but it mentions Hickman suffered a serious stress fracture last year and relied on UC's medical guidance but should have gotten immediate surgery.
"Had Hickman been told the truth he would have immediately stopped participating, undergone surgery, and preserved that season of collegiate eligibility. Instead, he was kept in the dark by his coaches, athletic trainers and doctors at the University of Cincinnati and was reassured that conservative treatment was adequate."

”State of South Carolina grants Charleston guard Connor Hickman temporary restraining order to play his 5th year after injury derailed his season a year ago. Injunction hearing scheduled sometime next week.
Now the question becomes whether the NCAA will really fight to pull Hickman off the floor at the injunction hearing?”

Arrinten Page, Northwestern -- 16.0 points, 8.3 rebounds in four games including 22 points on Friday versus DePaul
CJ Anthony, Iona -- 15.5 points, 6.8 assists in four games
Dan Skillings, Baylor - 13.3 points, 6.0 rebounds in three games (his career high is 12.9 ppg as a sophomore at UC)
Dillon Mitchell, St. John's -- 11.0 points, 5.0 rebounds in three games (0/2 from three and an improved 7/13 from the FT line...)
Josh Reed, Penn State -- 8.0 points, 3.0 rebounds in four games as a starter
Tyler Betsey, Syracuse -- 7.3 points in three games (currently 4/12 from 3)
Rayvon Griffith, Kent State -- 4.3 points in six games, averaging 15.2 mins off the bench
JJ Rembert, McNeese - 1.3 points in limited minutes over three games
Connor Hickman, Charleston -- has yet to play; still sorting out eligibility (see above)
In case anyone is wondering, here are the FT #s:
Page - 14/23
Skillings - 6/10
Mitchell - 7/13
Reed - 8/8
Betsey - 4/6
Anthony - 24/34
Griffith - 1/2
Rembert - 2/2
66/98 = 67.3% (64.5% among last year's scholarship players), slightly higher than UC's 63.4%

That is correct. Wes mentioned last season he was specifically redshirting so he could preserve a year of eligibility to play elsewhere for 25-26.Originally posted by bearcatbret View Post
Not bad for the UC walk-on. Dan said that CJ was very loyal to UC and was proud of being a Bearcat but forgo his last year so that he could play meaningful minutes elsewhere. I hope that I got that right from Dan's comments tonight.

The 2025 TBT bracket is out. Nasty Nati is not participating this year.
A large percentage of rosters are not available online, but some familiar faces I saw participating include Mason Madsen, Jamille Reynolds, Nysier Brooks, Deshaun Morman, Rob Phinisee.

I won't say too much, but I have had talks with Saunders. All he talked about was what he was going to get in the NIL. That was when it was basically endorsements, but you could see he thought he should be highly paid. Enough said.Originally posted by Bearcat93 View PostI thought Saunders, Jr. was going to be much better across his career. To me, all this flight year over year, probably hurts some players that don't stick with a system. His FR year, I think, may have been his best?

reynolds is the one that I wish had stayed at UC - they really needed a big body inside this past year.
