  • NFL Draft 2024

As of now, UC has one former player on the full mock list from ESPN and it's:

    201. Detroit Lions (via TB): Jowon Briggs, DT, Cincinnati

I'm still looking for others' lists .

I don't see any former Bearcats who transferred on any draft lists either, unless I missed it.

Daniel Grzesiak was at the College All-Star Draft Camp reportedly has some teams interested in him. He could be a late round pick or UDFA.

Dane Brugler's "The Beast" mock will be out on 4/10. It's usually in the format of a ginormous PDF for Athletic subscribers only. I'll try and wade through it later this week.

As promised Dane Brugler's the Beast is out. It's an Athletic members-only passworded PDF that came in at 324 pages this year.

UC only had one guy in the higher portion of the list that Brugler did a full profile on and that was Jowon Briggs.

Rankings are by position, not overall.

            QB Emory Jones #37 FA

            RB Ryan Montgomery #96 FA

            WR Dee Wiggins #103 FA

            C Trevor Radosevich #38 FA

            EDGE Daniel Grzesiak #47 FA

DT Jowon Briggs #20 7th Rd, PFA

            DT Mailk Vann #88 FA

            S Taj Ward #143 FA

Honorable mention to QB Ben Bryant at #20 PFA.

Honroable mention to CB Ja'Quan Shepard #43 PFA

Here's what the "experts" have to say about Jowon Briggs. Briggs is most likely a Saturday pick or UDFA.

                          From Fan Recap:
CINCINNATI — In his NFL debut, former Cincinnati quarterback Emory Jones experienced a challenging start with the Baltimore Ravens last Friday. During his single play at the end of the game, Jones fumbled, leading to a Philadelphia Eagles victory when they scored a field goal, making the final score 16-13.

It was his only play of the game.

“Emory is understandably upset, but it’s all part of the learning curve,” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh commented. “This is a fast-paced game, especially hard when your first snap comes at such a critical moment. It’s a preseason game, and these are the moments you learn from. Emory is very diligent and responsible; he’ll improve from this.”
