A nice mention of the Jack Twyman/Maurice Stokes story on the NBA pregame show tonight. They didn't know the story, but Barkley said it made him glad he's in sports.
I remember the annual Maurice Stokes benefit games. All the biggest stars in the NBA would play a benefit game annually, with all the money going for Maury’s health care. Jack Twyman organized that game every year.
