I'm not going to try to get into Jamille's head, but he often displayed an apparent lack of effort at both ends of the floor. He was a defensive liability in the post, demonstrating very little athleticism. On offense, if the ball came to him in the post, he slowly backed down the man guarding him, allowing defensive help to arrive. Although he came in with a supposed ability to pass out of double-teams, he rarely tried. That led to the rest of the team just standing around waiting for something to happen. That doesn't work in the B12.

You know a lot. He's a traditional post up offensive center. Nothing wrong with that but I don't think he was a good fit on last year's team. Showed flashes offensively when he was out there but looked like he mailed in with about 3 weeks left.

As mentioned above, The ball stopped moving when he received it. Re: the lack of athleticism, I can remember how many pounds he lost at the Monster Factory (40?) but imagine him out there with that team at his previous weight. Last season was him in the best shape of his career.

He tried the pick and roll but seldom got the ball as the guards dribbled to the outside and didn't look. Maybe it was a ruse to get defenders on him or the guards didn't trust him. Regardless, if I saw that he would never get it, I am sure a big 12 coach did as well. He usually was by himself without a defender as the defenders drifted to a double team on the guards. Left me perplexed.
