    Tony Pike

Tony Pike -- who by the way does a really great job on ESPN1530 -- is headed to the UC HOF, Class of 2025.

John Cunningham just surprised him on air with the news https://x.com/GoBearcatsFB/status/1950942706982674893

Tony Pike is perplexingly out at iHeart -- the likes of Dan Hoard, Lance McAlister, Fox19's Jeremy and Joe, Tommy G, Charlie Goldsmith are among those who have sung his praises so far on Twitter/X. Sounds like he was a casualty in iHeart layoffs.

Per Scott Springer, Tony will still do UC games (he's filled in the last couple weeks for Jim Kelly and is a natural in the booth) but as an independent contractor. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/spo...a/86585365007/

The only things I ever listened to on iHeart channels, UC games, and Tony Pike’s show. Now just down to UC games.

Just wondering -- pay cut or if they need him to replace Jim Kelly. I realize radio is a business, but Tony Pike is a local legend. He is soon to be the face of UC if he isn't already.

i think, but i wouldn't swear to it, that the uc broadcast gig is separate from the daily iheart shows. but, agree, tony = uc, to an awful lot of people

Yes -- Oscar and KMart don't have the local presence nor does Sauce. Local boy made good.

Tony Pike Named Football Alumni Engagement Coordinator

                              https://gobearcats.com/news/2026/04/...nt-coordinator

Pike’s role includes working with Cunningham and Dr. Joe Luckey, UC’s Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Support Services, on all matters related to former football player engagement. This includes helping identify connections within each decade, particularly leading a small Football Alumni Council, to replicate the same relationships as those of the current locker room.
