I got to see him play in-person last night during St. John's exhibition against Michigan at MSG. He had had a quiet first half then really woke up in the second half. He let the game come to him and didn't force any bad shots. He didn't attempt a 3. His free throw shot improved (3-for-4 at the line). He had the two biggest dunks of the night including a one-handed put-back dunk that gave me flashbacks of Melvin Levitt's iconic helicopter dunk. He also had a nice catch-and-shoot jumper from just inside the free throw line too. His individual highlights are below:

Dillon was drafted by the Celtics with the 40th pick of the 2026 Draft. Congrats to him.

It's hard to say whether or not he improved his overall game between the 24/25 and 25/26 seasons, but playing on a winning team in a better-defined role definitely helped his draft optics.

The Celts need Bigs who can defend. We will see.
