I hope Bearcat fans appreciate this young man more than they did/do Jaren Cumberland, Yancey Gates, and Jeremiah Davenport. The treatment of those young men (hometown heroes) has at times been embarrassing.

I agree with you Corporateballa 100% with just a little caveat. I think in the cases of YG and JC the displeasure from the fans although directed at the players (albeit wrongfully so) was more of Cronin's lack of developing the talent once he obtains it. I dont want this to hijack the present thread and its just my opinion but I was never impressed with how or the lack of development that
Mick Cronin and his staff obtained, especially the guards ( Wright and Caupin). So with that said Here's hoping that CWM and his staff developed these new recruits to them fullest of their abilities.

I believe I read that Rayvon is slightly higher-rated than Jarron Cumberland (obviously Rayvon's ranking/rating could go up or down between now and final rankings). But that would mean (according to the above link from 247), since 2000, the only UC commits ranked higher than Rayvon = Lance Stephenson, Jermaine Lawrence, Yancy Gates, Devan Downey, Roy Bright, and Zach Harvey ... shoutout to Yancy for being the only one to finish/graduate from UC (though no disrespect to Lance for being one and done).

I wish Zach Harvey had a chance to graduate. It is still a sore spot when I think of MM and the Coach. Zach had a chance to really develop both as a person and a player.

Seeing the official UC Athletics and Wes Miller accounts refer to this as "THE MOVEMENT."

I find this very cringeworthy. In 2012, Indiana had the #1 class (or something very close to 1), as Tom Crean was building things back up. The highly regarded class -- consisting of three Indiana natives and two foreign kids playing in Indiana at a prep school -- called themselves "The Movement."
