You saw what I saw too.

Griffith must have been doing something right on defense. I saw the whole game and the opponents he was assigned to weren't the ones scoring.

The kids in that tourney are just that: kids. They've received good coaching for that level, but not to the extent that they will at UC or any other top D1 school.

I agree with you from the standpoint of his effort being intense all the time; however, he overreacts, often losing his man. That can be corrected through good coaching. Effort was there for sure all the time.

Griffith's play reminded me of Davenport. An affinity to shoot the three and drives to the basket and weak on defense.

I thought his defense looked pretty good, he certainly has the length.

Yes, he reminds me of Skillings.

Griffith was quiet in the first half, with one basket on a fast break. The second half was 180 degrees from that, as he knocked in 10, including two treys.

He's long and quick, with a good first step. AZ Compass Prep utilized him at the top of their press.
