I have been saying this for weeks. He is a local kid for me in NC. The local chatter had him a strong UC lean several months ago. He is a 4 star player and if you can close, you jump at his committment and move on happily. It appears to me we put him on hold as a contingency play in case we didn't get Collier. Collier is certainly a huge talent and pulling out all the stops is understandable. It is very rare indeed that we are in the finals for a player of his caliber, but it is equally rare for us to land 4 star point guards. Green never said "disrespect", I did, as I can't imagine it was viewed in any other manner.Comment

I'm thinking the disrespect may have come from his reading these posts where it was suggested that CWM was playing things in a way that Green was the second choice. These kids know how the recruiting game is played so I don't see CWM refusing Greens LOI if he was ready to commit hoping to get Collier. If Green was ready to commit you take him and be glad.Last edited by Rufus; 08-02-2022, 05:13 PM.Comment
