Four-star PG Travis Perry breaks down Purdue, Michigan, Cincinnati; talks Ole Miss and Indiana

    https://www.on3.com/news/travis-perr...s-and-indiana/

“They’re definitely on the uprise. Coach (Wes) Miller does things the right way. He coaches his guys hard, and he gets the best out of everyone. They love playing for him, and that is something that is big. He is there for his guys, and he puts a lot of time into them.

“They’re improving as a program, and they’re moving up to the Big 12. I’m excited to see them compete this season.”

Per Chad Brendel, Perry is on campus. He's the #1 all-time Kentucky 3-point shooter and all-time scorer.

His list of suitors is long and distinguished, including UK. Two analysts have crystal balled him to the Wildcats. Still, he's here taking a look on UC's dime, so you never know.

It's funny how 247 has Travis signed sealed and delivered to UK... Doesn't even show Travis interested in UC!

Looks like Travis is on campus for an official per a source. I haven’t seen that corroborated anywhere else at this point but this is a good thing for UC, if true.

Of all the schools in pursuit, he said there are a handful that he feels is prioritizing him.

“Purdue, Indiana, Cincinnati, Western Kentucky, Michigan," he said. "I have been talking to those schools, learning more about them and seeing how I can fit in their system.”

I'm not sure I see this one happening, but UC continues to pursue and get mentioned

Class of 2024 guard Travis Perry is coming off a thrilling junior season. The Eddyville, Ky. guard became his state’s all-time leading scorer, surpassing the 4,000 point mark in the process. …

From a recruiting standpoint, where do things stand and who are you hearing from the most?
It’s a little bit blurry right now with all of the portal stuff and all of the coaching changes, but I’m hearing a lot from Indiana, Purdue, Kentucky, Missouri, Western Kentucky, Virginia, and Cincinnati.

247 update. UC still actively pursuing him.

"It was a fun game. It was the last regular season game of the year. I came out and hit a couple of shots early, got the ball out in transition, pushed the ball, got some easy

Maybe seeing how we were a good ball handler and another shooter away from being competitive, f not winning the Houston game will show Mr Perry how impactful he will be. Since he has played HS level so long, any chance he reclassifies to 2023?

    From Saturday https://www.zagsblog.com/2023/01/07/...reed-sheppard/

“They need me. They’re saying they need a shooter like me,” Perry said of Cincinnati. “They need a guy that can come in, take them deep and win some games. That’s what Coach [Wes] Miller is pitching to me – that I’m a winner and we’re going to go in there and help him win.”

Collier visited last year during houston game and that didn’t impact him. Plus Travis is regional.
