Not the best opponent for potential recruits to be on a visit. Hopefully, the 'Cats play well enough to keep him interested.

Travis Perry, a four-star point guard in the 2024 class out of Lyon County (Ky.), has become a highly coveted high major recruit this year and has been busy this

"I'm not sure when I will cut a list but it will be relatively soon," he said of what's next. "I am going to Ole Miss in November for a visit and still want to set up a few more visits. I want to get down to Virginia, they just offered, Cincinnati and a couple other schools."

Cincinnati: “Coach (Wes) Miller has been kind of telling me the same thing, that he has to have me down there. He’s been around a lot and he’s told me that he’s going to be there to visit every time he can. It’s been really good, and I’m looking to set up a visit there as well.”

Wes and Mike Roberts have been in on Perry

"It's been good. It's been fun getting to talk to a lot of great coaches and a lot of great people talking about basketball which is what I love so seeing the hard work

In Kentucky, per the KHSAA, 7th & 8th graders may play at the HS level, provided they come from a feeder school:

"Only those students enrolled in a feeder school in grades 7 and 8 are permitted to play in a high school sport or sport-activity (at any level) except for football and soccer. Students below grade seven (7) may not participate in any activity (practice, scrimmage or game)."

For those of you who recall O.J. Mayo, before he transferred to North College Hill, he played as a junior high student on a small-school varsity team.

2024 G Travis Perry, already a 3000 point scorer at the high school level, is starting to see his recruitment pick up. Indiana has also been in contact since this was published 👀 🔗: https://t.co/JZjeeHRU5v
