Not the best opponent for potential recruits to be on a visit. Hopefully, the 'Cats play well enough to keep him interested. -

Travis Perry, a four-star point guard in the 2024 class out of Lyon County (Ky.), has become a highly coveted high major recruit this year and has been busy this
"I'm not sure when I will cut a list but it will be relatively soon," he said of what's next. "I am going to Ole Miss in November for a visit and still want to set up a few more visits. I want to get down to Virginia, they just offered, Cincinnati and a couple other schools."Leave a comment:

In Kentucky, per the KHSAA, 7th & 8th graders may play at the HS level, provided they come from a feeder school:
According to Travis Graf, it's 3000 but yeah seems like a lot unless he's the only scoring option on the team. You might be right about the 7-8th grade thing.

"Only those students enrolled in a feeder school in grades 7 and 8 are permitted to play in a high school sport or sport-activity (at any level) except for football and soccer. Students below grade seven (7) may not participate in any activity (practice, scrimmage or game)."
For those of you who recall O.J. Mayo, before he transferred to North College Hill, he played as a junior high student on a small-school varsity team.Leave a comment:

Though I feel like kids in Kentucky have the ability to play high school sports when they are still in like 7th-8th grade.
