Loved Hogue, Wiesenhahn, Wilson. I surely did like Miller. If only Pat Cummings had not gotten hurt that year.

Before 1972 freshmen weren't eligible, which made some of those early stars more seasoned when they started varsity ball.

Saw them all and players like them are sorely missed.

I know the game has changed, but I would love to see us bring in a physical big man. Kenyon, Fortson, Maxiell, Hicks...I miss the guys you can count on to get a big rebound or physically just intimidate the other team. The big guys now all seem to be finesse big men.

That is true, the game has changed.
Keep in mind: Kenyon 6'8 Fortson 6'7 Maxiel 6'7 Hicks 6'6 Hardly big guys by todays standards but certainly tough guys.
