You are correct that the NCAA has said it will be stricter on second transfers that are not grad transfers. However, his coach at Temple (Aaron McKie) was fired. The criteria is much tougher than it was a year ago, but you have to think UC is confident that he will be immediately eligible.

Pretty sure if they try and be strict about it, someone will sue and get an injunction to play.Originally posted by zykarious View Post
The NCAA has been indicating all Spring that they are going to be quite stringent in granting second transfers waivers. Fans are mostly assuming that waivers will be handed out like candy to second transfers. We'll see if the NCAA sticks to their guns.Brent Wyrick

UC makes this official https://gobearcats.com/news/2023/4/1...asketball.aspx
"We've coached against Jamille the last two years and have always been impressed with his ability," Miller said. "He has a rare combination of size, agility, explosiveness and power. He's skilled and has a natural feel for basketball. As we've built a relationship with him this spring, I've found him to be a young man of high character that's motivated to become an elite player. I believe he will do that at Cincinnati."

Let's hope so, but all he said is an elite player. Many elite players don't get drafted.Originally posted by leo from jersey View Post
