This is factual, although Wes did say in his Presser a few days ago he anticipates the roster being complete UNLESS they get an extra scholarship spot, sounds like this really isn't on his radar.

I cannot see a scholarship level player accepting NIL in lieu of a scholly. The player will be asking "Why me? Why do I have to pay tuition/room/board when (points to perceived lesser player) he doesn't?" Unless there was a really good relationship with the player and a great NIL offer explicitly saying he's getting value to pay for tuition/room/board, you will set up an ego battle that will be a nightmare for the team and coaches to manage.

Mike Sharavjamts of San Francisco (3 points in 25 minutes in the NIT game) is headed to new Big 12 foe Utah. The 6'9 Mongolian averaged 7.7 ppg this year for USF after a year at Dayton. Seems like he was a highly regarded international prospect who has put up decent numbers but not exactly looking like an NBA prospect.

Where would he play? He's a SF. Dan Skillings, Tyler Betsey, Josh Reed, and Rayvon Griffith already man that position, as can Simas Lukosius.

That said, yesterday a USA Today sports writer listed 5 schools for Watkins (MI, St. John's, Nova, TX & KSU).

Rutgers transfer forward Mawot Mag has committed to BYU, he tells @On3sports.

The 6-7 senior averaged 9.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game this season.

This is both funny and sad. I've seen plenty of fake player profiles on the football side but this might be a first for basketball for me.

Somebody has created an entire Twitter profile for himself under the name "Eric James" that's based on his recruiting offers in the 2K basketball video game. He has a Youtube channel and everything. If you're just surfing though it looks like he has an offer from UC but if you look at the rest of his posts, he gave himself away by reclassifying to '24 (We're full), posting all of his offers with the same 8 hour timestamp and retweeting a post from the The Misfits.

The user profile you're looking for could not be found.

Chad Brendel mentioned that it's very unlikely that the staff will add any other transfers. There are some teams that are willing to use NIL in lieu of a scholarship to circumvent the 13-scholly limit. Miller & Co. will concentrate on getting ready for workouts, as well as continue to hit the AAU circuit to see HS talent.
