I think I view this more as I'm not getting 40 minutes here with the deep roster and can't showcase myself for NBA scouts if I'm not on floor.

I am sure CWM has had many meetings with Cincy reigns. They are doing their best, but some schools have a very large booster association. In 2024, it is hard to compete for the big name transfers. This where the coaching staff have to prove their value for the Cats to win. That being, see the potential in recruits, coach them up and do a good job of in game coaching. In other words , back to the future.

I believe it would be best to fill the final position this year, rather than pocketing the scholarship. First, injuries happen. Second, the following season's roster already will include several openings: Aziz, Simas, CJ, Skillings (probably), Day Day. That's five already. If the final slot isn't filled with a multi-year player, the staff will be forced to replace nearly half of the roster.

We can offer a lot of playing time to just about anyone since we have a lot of players with positional flexibility. We should go after the best player available.
I assume we aren't close on anyone. Might be best to keep the scholly.
