This reminds me of how Kriisa and Edwards torched us with PnR in those 1/31 and 3/12 games. Edwards went a combined 17 for 24 at the rim, Kriisa had 14 assists. We couldn't stop it.

I worry that Wes wants Kriisa for that reason. PnR is all he knows how to implement on offense, so he's bringing in a PG who is good at it. The problem is most defenses know how to stop PnR. WVU finished last place in the Big12 for a reason. They were also dead last in defensive efficiency, and Kriisa was a big part of that.

Brannen did it too. Remember Rapolas Ivanauskas? That was by far the worst case of this. Brought in a negative 2.1 BPM player because he scored 21 against us (basically a lucky game, 7 for 10 from midrange). He was even worse here.

Reynolds would have been a huge help this year under the basket. Reynolds issue was laziness IMO... At times looked the part of a good PF around the rim.
