Kentucky Guard Transfers to Big 12 Rival | Fan Recap For those always looking at a star rating, this guy had it going into his freshman season. It did not really pan out but here is hoping for his luck to change.

This reminds me of how Kriisa and Edwards torched us with PnR in those 1/31 and 3/12 games. Edwards went a combined 17 for 24 at the rim, Kriisa had 14 assists. We couldn't stop it.

I worry that Wes wants Kriisa for that reason. PnR is all he knows how to implement on offense, so he's bringing in a PG who is good at it. The problem is most defenses know how to stop PnR. WVU finished last place in the Big12 for a reason. They were also dead last in defensive efficiency, and Kriisa was a big part of that.

To be fair, Bob Huggins getting himself fired before the season played a big part as well

In the twitter announcement he's wearing #77. Thinks he's Luka Doncic apparently.

              Dan Hoard:

"Here's what I like the most about the addition of Kerr Kriisa:

He led the Pac-12 twice in assists at Arizona and has had 10 or more six times in his career. You can't have enough good passers.

Kriisa is also a career 36% 3-point shooter who nailed 42% in his last healthy season."

                Josh GershonNational Recruiting Analyst Projection

                Power 4 Starter

Skilled point guard with good size and average length. Plenty of room to fill into his frame. Very good three-point shooter off bounce who can hit tough/contested shots. Could improve efficiency off catch and middle game. Can finish with both hands at rim. Outstanding vision/creative passer. Ambidextrous one-hand passer off live dribble. Competitive spirit and motor help overcome physical tools on defense. Projects as high major starter.

                H.S. Athletic Background

Kerr Krissa is a 6-2, 175-pound Point Guard from Estonia, ESTO.

Does anyone besides me find it unsettling that Miller falls in love with players from teams who torch us and goes after them in the portal?

What’s the saying? If you can’t beat them join them. LOL.

Well, it worked pretty well with Aziz, not so much with Reynolds.

Brannen did it too. Remember Rapolas Ivanauskas? That was by far the worst case of this. Brought in a negative 2.1 BPM player because he scored 21 against us (basically a lucky game, 7 for 10 from midrange). He was even worse here.

Reynolds would have been a huge help this year under the basket. Reynolds issue was laziness IMO... At times looked the part of a good PF around the rim.

There were reports that, when Brannen pulled Ivanauskas out of Colgate, members of other Patriot League teams were laughing at UC. They knew what he brought to the table.

More confirmation that Brannen didn't use analytics. Tari Eason on the bench, Chris McNeal, Rapolas Ivanauskas. All terrible choices based on metrics.
