I'm sorry and I know it's the state of collegiate athletics today but I just can't fathom schools offering that much for any player much less coming out of the less than power four conferences. I'm not saying that the kid can't play but 3-5 million is over paying. Perhaps that's why he hasn't been signed here yet. If he's wanting the money then he's not going to be proud to wear the cpaw or any brand for that matter.

That's what I was thinking, so was Baba not elgible for another season at UC? If Baba was, he would have been my #1 priority to keep.

I think he brings a spark from watching his NCAA games. Glad he is here.

Just a solid all around player on both sides of the ball with room to develop some skillsets. Played up to competition with a 5.0 BPM in 8 top 50 games. I see him as a backup to Tejada. If I had to solely rely on analytics, I would start Mahaffey over him.

He came in as a defensive specialist and started much of the season but isn't a Big 12 level starter.
I would take Conerway. He split PG duties with Enright, so was often guarding bigger wings. Still posted a 3.4 DBPM and 8.8 overall BPM in Big10 play. 34% assist rate and 68% eFG at high usage. Those are great numbers in the top conference, though he missed a lot of time and was turnover prone. But I have no idea if he's eligible or if we're connected to him at all. There are thousands of players in the portal. I try to stay away from analyzing guys until we have a connection.

I took height as a consideration, so I did not go any smaller than 6'3". Desmond Claude is an interesting prospect. Highly rated coming outta HS. Also a one time X Recruit.

Pop Isaacs is also still available. Not to say that more PGs won't enter the portal.

If we get upgrades on scoring, I'm willing to trust John Calhoun. My take on his style of play: yeah, we have to try to stop them, but we aren't hanging our hat on defense because we're going to outscore teams since we are hard to stop.
