I'm getting anxious for the season to start already. Great pickup today, kudos to CJC and staff and welcome to all the "new" bearcats.

So, Sanders is off to MSU? Man. Just like that, he is gone to another school.

Yeah, and UC is not getting any of them. All that UC can do is to keep on recruiting. UC will land somebody.

Yeah, Bonke is well suited to play in the BIG 10. The BIG 10 had some of the biggest teams in the country last season with Illinois being the biggest in the country. Note here that when I say big, I mean tall.

So we have (6) scholarships still available. Any serious targets still out there?

Yeah, there is a piece by Scott Springer, Cincinnati Enquirer, that reports UC contacted Luke Wilson as well as Bonke and Hastings. The report also mentions Sanders from Utah. Sanders, 6'8", is a sophomore forward that appears to have some offense to his game. Shoots 44.2% overall and 40.3% from three. Very weak FT shooter at 38.7%. Not sure about his defense. Any big that can shoot consistently with that kind of percentage from three will probably have a place on many teams. Interesting to see how the roster situation is evolving.

One thing I believe, CJC will be way more demanding t They are going to get
introduced to seriously defense and rebounding.
On offense, no more dribble dribble and jack up 3’s. I take CJC at his word, It’s going
to be refreshing watching a style we
    have come to appreciate

as Cory B. said "WE ARE THE BEARCATS AND NOT THE KITTYCATS'. I say with the one sided players wm brought in we were the cutie cats and not the bearcats. Our double figures looked great until you see the to, foul shooting and the lack of hustle, inability to pass and run without the ball. Plus the team often disappeared especially on the boards. Out with the old and in with the old new Bearcats. Bearcats which we loved in the past and hope to see in the future.

Once again, look at the talent you’re talking about. Being a season ticket holder for many years, Jordi was an average to below average bench player at best. Too many people are focused on Charlotte and the players Miller is signing. I love the direction and the caliber players that Calhoun is signing. Will definitely need to sign a few bigs but I’m excited for this upcoming season and we’re still in April.

Very likeable coach, especially with the players. With the amount that have followed Wes, it's more than apparent. The only real loss is James, always liked his scoring ability.

Wes was a very good recruiter, just not an Xs &Os Coach. Come crunch time, Wes was over his head IMO. A smaller school like Charlotte is a much better fit for Wes IMO. All the focus is on UC. Some of us just follow players closer, more than fans. Especially if they're one of your favorites.

“Tylen is the ultimate competitor and just an unbelievable story from the time he enrolled in college a few years back to where he is now,” Calhoun said. “He has shown significant growth and can do a lot of things on both sides of the ball. Tylen will light up a room and is a consummate winner.”
