I do believe he thought he was one and done at UC. Why else would he live with a private coach and his brother. Why would WM say he practiced too much (remember that and it makes sense now) as he had a daily second session with his private coach. I am just speculating, but which coach was he listening to. Although the mess might be evenly split between WM's inability and Shon's egotistical expectations, I really can't see him staying. The only way is I wonder how Mr. Deep Pockets liked the way this mess was handled and that the certain deep pocket which wrote the check enough for an apt., car, private coach and brother living in Cincy, may write another. I really don't see that happening, but who knows. I kinda feel sorry for WM being pushed around and SA being given the illusion he was NBA ready before even coming to UC. How times have changed.

PS I do want Mr. Deep pockets to keep on writing checks.

wes was just so over his head - i bet, at some level, he's glad to be gone - he has a ton of cash, he can get a fresh start somewhere else, learn from his mistakes here, and maybe get it right at the next stop.

He was headed to the portal early but for sure after Roy William came and watched a game in person The next game Shon didn't start. I wonder what Roy said and to whom did he said it to.

UC still has some basketballs staying and I think they will be put to good use

There is a new coach coming. The old is gone. I am sure Shon's agent is well aware of this fact.

I apologize. I have not seen anything official either. The photo posted above - post #16 - appears to be Abaev purchasing a moving box from a Home Depot. I just assumed it was as it appeared.

i saw that post over the weekend - someone with a fake jarred cumberland X account posted it - so God only knows if its even real - it could've just been a stab at humor - i mean, i wouldn't doubt it, if it is real, just not sure about it.

The timing of the portal opening while post season play continues is less than optimal. I still think the players should wait until a new coach is named before entering the portal. I know it doesn't officially open until April 7 but their intentions are likely going to be made public before then.

Xavier's Roddie Anderson is expected to hit the portal, per reports. He was the team's 4th leading scorer and had 8 on just 2/9 shooting versus UC. Many of X's top contributors were seniors, so it's still rebuild mode on Victory Pkwy.
