I noticed in that same link Matt Norlander says as part of his new deal Tommy Lloyd no longer reports to the AD...that's having power/clout.Originally posted by GoBearcats31 View PostFormer Bearcat transfer Arrinten Page, who had a nice season at Northwestern, appears to be headed for a 4th school in 4 years

I guess he just has to answer to the University President who certainly isn't going to tell him how to do his job...so Lloyd will be essentially running his own business.
I must be naive, but how many D1 football and basketball coaches have this type of autonomy?

So, did he have offer here? Or maybe CJC already have other options?Originally posted by GoBearcats31 View PostKarson Templin is staying at Utah State

Here's an interesting one, as reported by Draft Express:
Miami U's Eian Elmer will hit the portal. 6'6 215 lb. forward from Covington, KY (says he went to Taft HS in Cincinnati though - probably a teammate of Rayvon Griffith's) who averaged 12.7 points and 5.9 rebounds -- including 23 in the First Four win over SMU. Will be a senior.

i think he had a really good year, but would you label him as more of an "inside" player? if so, any concerns about going toe to toe with some of the bigs in the B12? more as an off the bench guy? think he was an ok 3 point shooter.Originally posted by GoBearcats31 View PostHere's an interesting one, as reported by Draft Express:

I'm beginning to think Calhoun is going to have to do a total reload. If some players nationwide are making it known what their intentions are in either staying put or entering the portal, what's prohibiting UC's players from doing the same? This lack of any info is disconcerting, even if the official start of portal movement is tomorrow
