I like Elamin. From what I have seen of him, he plays hard and can score and rebound some (6.7 pts and 3.1 rebs / gm). When I saw USU last season, I got the feeling that Elamin was more of a defensive player. However, his defensive stats are not impressive at all (shot blocking and steals. Less than 1 / gm for both).

I do think that he has a very high upside. He is only a sophomore. Here is a surprise. The Utah State roster from last year has Elamin listed as a 6'9" 185 WING. I thought he was an undersized power forward. His defensive stats make more sense now.

Still, Elamin probably could stand to gain about 20 pounds. I like him. Glad he is at UC

Not sure, but 247 has him listed as a PG. I would guess with his number of assist, a PG.

Conerway was a senior at IU this season -- and didn't live up to expectations -- but maybe he can get another year Day Day Thomas style. He came in as a defensive specialist and started much of the season but isn't a Big 12 level starter.

There are a couple dozen PGs still available with higher BPMs than Brumbaugh. He's not worth overpaying for in my opinion.

I'm sorry and I know it's the state of collegiate athletics today but I just can't fathom schools offering that much for any player much less coming out of the less than power four conferences. I'm not saying that the kid can't play but 3-5 million is over paying. Perhaps that's why he hasn't been signed here yet. If he's wanting the money then he's not going to be proud to wear the cpaw or any brand for that matter.

That's what I was thinking, so was Baba not elgible for another season at UC? If Baba was, he would have been my #1 priority to keep.

I think he brings a spark from watching his NCAA games. Glad he is here.

Just a solid all around player on both sides of the ball with room to develop some skillsets. Played up to competition with a 5.0 BPM in 8 top 50 games. I see him as a backup to Tejada. If I had to solely rely on analytics, I would start Mahaffey over him.
