agreed CJC wants to do well. He is selling his program and many fans/donors have limited patience because we want a winner badly, The staff is working hard,Originally posted by Oldtimer_UC_fan View PostI have to believe that we're turning over every stone to find players.....be patient.

it may be a good thing, that he's looking for his type of players, not just the first ones available / willing to come here. team chemistry and commitment are still a big part of a successful team.Originally posted by leo from jersey View Post

My current wish is for a player with 8%+ OReb, 4%+ block, and 2+ BPM. There are only 12 such players in the portal. Jayden Hastings and James Scott are both on the list. Not a ton of options though.

There are always overseas players and let's not overlook JC players.Originally posted by sedz View PostMy current wish is for a player with 8%+ OReb, 4%+ block, and 2+ BPM. Couldn’t agree more. All the negativity is coming from the same two posters. Once again I love the direction Calhoun has gone with bringing his type of players in. Give him time, it’s only the end of April, he’ll have a full team that will be competitive.Originally posted by D.A.H. View Post

We all want the same thing, some of us are less likely to drink the kool-aid until we see results. I’ve seen so many staffs come and go, I remember how enthused we were when Badger replaced Catlett, and then for Yates when he replaced Badger. The Big 12 is murder, and the new rules have changed everything. I’ll wait and see, but so far I’m worried.Originally posted by Natination113 View Post

Maybe some good news coming? Saw a tweet alluding to something potentially favorable on this front.Originally posted by Carthage World View Post
Chad said on last night's podcast that the trail has gone cold on Hastings' recruitment after it seemed like there was a chance he may commit somewhere last week. Chad still suspects UC and Texas Tech are the frontrunners.

I'm sure he could fill the roster in a day if he wanted to settle. I prefer he be more selective.Originally posted by longtimefan View Post

I’ve written this before so I’ll write it again. It is WAY too early to make any kind of judgment, much less be worried. It will take CJC and staff sometime to assemble a team. Listen to the most recent Coffee with Cunningham and CJC’s interview on that podcast. If you don’t feel better after that, then I don’t know what to say to you to rest your concerns. Maybe you’re a half-empty glass kind of person, which is your right. Just try not to bring the rest of us down while we’re excited about the future of UC basketball.Originally posted by longtimefan View Post

I don't there is any intent on bringing others down. As fans and long time ones, there is concern and they don't want to be burnt again. I for one after the last couple of failures, believe things are looking up. We got Huggs back, some donors back and we don't have 3 pointers being jacked up at will if CJC past holds true. I am looking forward to that tall skinny guy entertaining us too.
Go Cats.
