How can we continue to play and start Ado? His stupid fouls, numbers 4 and 5, probably cost us the game. He can't score, rebound, or do much else. We get so much more from Lahkin and Oguama.

Defense allows 48 points in the second half. Simply can’t win when you don’t play defense. Up 8 with 8:49 left and lose by 5. Outscored by 13 in 9 minutes. That’s almost Nevada-esque.

              Team shot 24/63 - 38%
MAW shot 1/7 and DDJ 7/21

Remove those 2 and the team shot 16/36 - 46%

I understand DDJ has to take shots bc someone has to, but the point this illustrates is that if you take good shots, they tend to go it. You take bad shots and they don’t. Take more good shots

This team is so limited, really missed Newman. Way too many stupid, obvious fouls.

The problem is that our two leading scorers are also our two biggest culprits in taking forced and contested shots. We were actually fairly efficient when all five guys on the floor were engaged and working for open shots.

We also have a couple of guys who continually drive to the rim but can’t convert, that killed us late tonight. We see it over and over every single game.

This defeat ends the regular season for the 'Cats. They finish 17-14 overall, and 7-11 in conference play. Cincinnati is now locked into the 8th spot in the AAC tournament. The 7th and 9th seeds will be determined when East Carolina visits Wichita State on Saturday. The winner gets the 7th seed, while the loser gets the #9 seed. The Bearcats will play the loser of that game in the first round of the AAC tourney. The game will take place on Thursday, March 10th at 1:00 PM. If the team prevails, they will get the privilege of playing Houston at 1:00 PM on Friday (March 11th). I believe all of that information is right. Feel free to correct if necessary. The tournament will take place at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The times are EST.

No. If ECU loses at WSU Saturday, we get the 7th seed.

No. The winner of the ECU/Wichita game will have a better conference winning percentage than us and the loser will have worse winning percentage than us.

We're locked into the 8th seed either way.

Here's the Box score with our favorite +/- stats this time around. Maybe I don't understand this stat completely but it seems odd that our two best offensive threats are in the minus side of that column. This is a trend.
