Clearly the AAC is awful this year which makes quality wins a premium. Results in Maui and against X are gonna be disproportionately important. Houston and Memphis splits would be very helpful for the resume but the rest of the conference games we should be favored.

Dayton is a good team so that is not a bad loss for SMU. I am surprised that USF stayed close to Auburn.

I was at the UD-SMU game. SMU had tied it up at the 5:05 mark. UD hit a couple 3s to take control down the stretch. UD still missing 2 starters due to injury. They should be a force by April. SMU looked good at times, Nutall (guard) and Williams (forward) especially. They get to the basket. Not sure how much was SMU or poor UD defense. SMU has 2 bigs with bulk. Not much offensively, but they were not afraid to bang in the paint. SMU did go 12 deep, but got very little from their bench. SMU shot 6/23 on 3pt.

Side note: UD arena was rocking last night. They unveiled some throwback unis (Light blue). It was loud! UC crowds can learn something by experiencing a game there. Great atmosphere.

I have always felt badly for UD because when the NCCA tourney got cancelled because of covid, they had a legit final 4 team.

David DeJulius -- AAC player of the week!
Cincinnati's 3-0 start to the men's basketball season got even better with the announcement of David DeJulius as the AAC's Player of the Week.

Stetson wins by 1 at USF. Tough result after hanging with Auburn. Now 0-3.

With some these scores over the past few days, I wonder if the other AAC forums are blowing up about how basketball sucks right now?
