Phelps has been injured and hasn't played in the Mustangs' last two games. I've seen no word regarding his availability.

As usual, SMU have drawn poorly at Moody. In their two home conference games thus far (Tulsa, Tulane), they have averaged about 3,300 fans (7,000 capacity). The Tulsa game was on New Year's Day, while the Tulane matchup took place this past Wednesday night. Perhaps a Saturday afternoon affair will lead more fans to attend.

SMU is having serious coaching change issues. I'm not saying the new coach doesn't have it right but they lost players and lost Kendric Davis to Memphis in the off season. This is not the same team we're used to playing.

That said, it's a road game. UC can go when it needs to so we're probably good if we don't have a Temple game offense redux. Guard the guards and if Phelps is not a go, then guard Todorivic. This team does not shoot the 3 well and they don't rebound well
