    Utah Valley, NIT 3/22 9:00 ESPN2

The (checks notes) Wolverines, are 27-8 and finished the regular season in 1st place in the WAC. They've beaten Oregon, BYU and NCAA tourney team Grand Canyon. They've also got 4 Ws over non D-1 opponents so maybe the record is somewhat decieving. The ended up in the NIT by losing their conference semifinal game and getting an NIT autobid since they finished in 1st.

I'd expect a well balanced scoring team that goes 8 deep and has a rebounding machine in the middle based on their stat sheet. We're probably going to have a play a bunch of guys in order to stay fresh because games will be played at altitude in Orem Utah. I think I saw someone say this will be their first nationally televised game, like ever.

quote "UVU is going to be a handful. Some really good playmaking guards and an athletic center. They looked like a much better team than Hofstra. unquote"

Wait til they get a load of Ody and Vik. I read somewhere the refs are letting them play not calling ticky tac fouls. This is a game where our bearcat "thug" mentality controlled of course) should be evident.

I couldn't find a good site to get tickets in some quick Googling - does anyone know if they are for sale yet? My son is at school at BYU in Provo so I was thinking about flying out there for this game

Tickets go live at 10 a.m. (presumably Utah time) https://twitter.com/UVUmbb/status/16...DU8bTAlLotAAAA

Here's an article from the local Provo paper on UVU's game last night in Boulder. The Cats need to control Trey Woodbury, who makes everything run smoothly for the Wolverines.

The UVU-CO game was on ESPNU last night, so maybe the UC game will be their first nationally televised home game.

Dan Hoard with reminder that the last time we played in Utah, we got jobbed and Chuck Machock got thrown out.

I remember it well.. Wasn't it against Pepperdine and he was suspended the next year. IT was an afternoon game. I remember that I may be wrong about Pepperdine or maybe Gonzaga. I heard it on the radio and not Tv.

It would've helped had I actually attached the article:
