For what it’s worth, despite entering the portal, Vik was in attendance at the Kelce event last night hanging with Skillings, Simas, Reed and others. Dancing and having fun. Nice to see.

In other words if he hurt a different ham string other than the one that was previously hurt in just the limited time he's been at UC then as much as would like to see him get back into his prime, it just seems like a huge gamble. I hope for his sake that he can be productive this next season.
Hard to get rid of a local with a lot of noted relations. Hopefully he becomes the player he was in high school. Hard to get spring for the jump shot with bad legs. We saw that with CJ's missing shots while he was in last year. Any change in the fluid motion of a jumper usually does not end well. I like CJ a lot and I wonder what he can mean to the team.

Seems like a stretch (no pun intended) for him to come back healthy enough to be much of a contributor.

Not trying to be snarky, but is there such a thing as a healthy CJ Frederick? At least in the last 3- 4 years? That’s a risky move when we need shooters so badly.

Do we have 3 open scholarships at the moment? Sage, CJ & Jamille? John Newman 3 and Ody's scholarships go to the Tylers?

We are in the middle of a one week "dead period" that runs through tomorrow. After that, expect kids to start taking visits and a lot more portal activity across the country. It's way too early to get worried (and Sage entering the portal does not affect things -- was just a number/body who wasn't playing even before Aziz and Jamille got cleared).
