    He played at Hamilton High not Badin but yes he's from Hawaii. I don't remember the entire story on how he and his family ended up in Hamilton.

    As far as negative recruiting tactics go it exists but it's not anywhere close to football from a local players standpoint. Basketball recruiting is much more geographically spread out.

    Not this Tuesday (or even next Tuesday). The current D1 basketball dead period (contact only via phone or electronic means) ends at noon Thursday (4/11/24). There will be a short open period, when coaches and players can meet in person, until a new dead period starting next Monday, running through Thursday (4/15/24 - 4/18/24).
