To imply that there was mental abuse by Wes without any proof is not being fair to Wes at all.
made it sound. Please. stop acting so naive. I just said abuse and people jump to conclusions based on limited experiences I guess. Now stop it and instead of grabbing an attitude be mature and ask me what I mean. Just ask me before you assume .Go back and read my post with comprehension please. Thanks

    • I suspect that it is premature to start throwing accusations out. It is also irresponsible to do so.

Speaking of jumping to conclusions, it seems like that is exactly what you are doing with the entire "abuse" topic....whether mental or not.

          Exactly.

To my somewhat limited knowledge there's no abuse of any kind going on here. Stop it already.

Oguama was the biggest loser with Bandaogo and Reynolds coming and then getting eligible

But makes you wonder about Reynolds’ expectations when choosing UC before Bandaogo was in the fold.

I'm trying to recall Big XII rosters and find anyone who had a true wide body post up center other than UC and outside of Hunter Dickinson at Kansas , I'm drawing a blank

Traore for BYU is the first guy that comes to mind. He has a Maxiell body, not all that tall but broad and a very strong true post player.

Davenport entered the portal on April 6th. Hensley entered the portal on April 20th. MAW entered the portal on May 9th (after initially posting on social media that he would return to UC in April).
Hensley is in the portal again.

                    • Sitting back and looking at the Vik conversation, I think you guys are missing the fundamentals. I have no idea what the personal relationship was between Vik and CWM, but from outsde the box, I'd say there wasn't much love. Vik came Here's just one basic: Vik came to UC as a 5. He played pretty well as a 5, too. Wes got hosed by Utah Valley and fantasized about having Aziz as his rim protector. Too bad Aziz is pretty much a on dimensional player. Vik basically got displaced to the 4 (thus him trying to develop a 3 shot). Vik was a natural back to the basket guy, but CWM had a love of 2 bigs on the floor simultaneously (which never seemed to work out for him). Vik became wasted talent in CWM's eyes. Bandaego is still here while Vik and Reynolds are gone, so CWM is going to have to go back to a more conventional offense. Maybe he should rewatch that UC/ISU a few more times. Vik could have possibly contained Avila on D and probably scored easily on him with his baby hook. I wish Vik well ad hope that whoever grabs him let's him play a post game where he excels - and he will. I am wondering how our Cats will do next season, and what type of offense we'll run. Wes, sadly, won't find another Vik Too bad Avila isn't in the portal. Good luck Vik!!!

I’m not too sure playing a stretch 4 wasn’t on Vik’s wish list.
He was a big NBA fan from what I have read, thus the
                        love of the 3 ball.

                        • I will say something positive about Reynolds as he leaves. I mentioned many time he set the pick & roll, but our guards didn't get him the ball as he was open. Perhaps this is why CWM is looking for guards in the portal. Reynolds would have had better stats if he was playing on a unit that played team ball and one that could see the floor and not just lobs. That is my humble opinion. I spoke of the negatives during the games, but will say the good as he leaves.

                            • The main money man in the OSU collective (which is #1) says no rules this year, but soon to come. A college degree can be seen as a union card getting you in a trade. It can also be seen as furthering your education. Both are good. This world is too big for company's to know everybody. Thus they trust that a legit school has done the necessary foundation building in a person and stands by their rep as the producer of the producers. Not always so, but it is our system.

UC shouldn't pay. We generate opportunities to maximize NIL deals for players, but this isn't a pay-4-play system, yet.
