Another semi-slow start to the game (10-7 after 7 minutes), but once we got going we dominated as expected.

Phenomenal offensive effort at the rim by Aziz, Mitchell and Page. Very efficient 14 pts, 6 assists and 0 turnovers by Simas on 6-7 shooting.

Nice to see Jizzle find his rhythm in the 2nd half after an underwhelming first half.

Per Chad Brendel, Dan Skillings has swelling in his knee. They don't believe it's anything seriouis, but an MRI is pending to make sure. He is highly unlikely to play next Friday night.

Day Day wanted to play tonight, but was held back. CWM believes Thomas will play next week.

63 percentage from The line. 60 percent from the field. As a team. So they can make shots.

Jamille had 4 turnovers, 5 fouls, zero blocks, zero offensive rebounds, a game worst negative 6.5 defensive BPM, and a team worst negative 5.2 net points. Not exactly "setting the world on fire".
Oh no, here we go again. How are you Sedz? I hope that you are well. Yeah, you are right about Reynolds. He has 7 turnovers in two games. Also, he has fouled out (10 fouls) in both of the games that USF has played so far. On the other hand, he averages 19 minutes / game and is averaging 10.5 points a game. He is shooting 47% from 2 and 50% from 3 (1-2). Likewise, he is averaging 4.5 rebounds a game. Two games are NOT a large enough sample size to really measure performance. A better measure of performance would be after about 10 games or so. By the way, USF has lost both games. Losing their coach is probably going to make for a tough season. Good luck to them.

Dan might be down for a while. Knee injury with swelling. Break should help him recover.

Actually, the misses have come from just part of the squad thus far:

                  Skillings 4/4
                  Page 10/13 (10 of last 11)
                  Fredrick 2/2
                  Griffith 3/3.

                  The real issues have been:

                  Jizzle 1/3
                  Mitchell 0/4

I agree with you Rufus. The team looks much better on the defensive end overall. However, UC gave up 37 points in the second half after giving up only 19 points in the first half. That could be due to playing the backups more minutes after the score is out of reach. Nevertheless, UC seems to be doing a much better job at making the other team fight for shots. We will see what happens as the season progresses.
