    Basketball Coaching Carousel '25

Starting this one a bit early this year because...

Well, Let's start this as a Hot Seat List

Todd Golden at Florida just got hit with a Title IX complaint for harassment and stalking today.

There have at least 4 national articles on what is up with Villanova and they had freshman recruit come up as ineligible today. Kyle Neptune made the mistake of following a legend I think.

Funny thing happened here. Looks like the person who will run for this seat is ESPN’s Paul Finebaum.

Didn't realize he gave that idea up.

Saint Joseph’s basketball has promoted Steve Donahue to head coach after Billy Lange decided to take a front office job with the New York Knicks.

Donahue joined the program in May as an associate coach after nine seasons as coach at Penn. He was Ivy League Coach of the Year in 2017-2018, when he led the Quakers to the NCAA Tournament. He had previously been the coach at Boston College and Cornell. He has a career record of 331-344 and led Cornell to three NCAA Tournament berths.

Wes: "We are thrilled to welcome Mamadou N'Diaye to Cincinnati. His experience at every level of basketball makes him a tremendous asset to our program. He's not only a respected coach, but also an elite mentor and recruiter. Our team and staff will benefit greatly from his leadership and knowledge of the game."

Mamadou: "I am incredibly excited to join Coach Miller and the Bearcats family. Cincinnati has a proud basketball tradition, and I look forward to helping this program continue its ascent in the Big 12 and on the national stage."
When is the last time UC has had a coach to have a lot of success working with the big men? Frank Martin, maybe. Hopefully, coach N'Diaye's playing and coaching experience can truly make a difference for inside play next season. Also, I hope that Miller gives the guy the freedom and space to do his thing.

I can believe all of that. Basketball is a business and everyone is acting in their own interest.

Confirmed by Keegan Knickoson of bearcatjournal.com. Worst kept secret in ages. N'Diaye and Moustapha Thiem are a package deal.
