We clearly don't have the horses to compete with the top end of this conference. Blowing two winnable games last week hurts even more now. Don't see a pathway to a .500 conference finish at the moment.

Jizzle and Simas especially look overmatched against long athletic defenses. Neither of them have the handles to create separation like they could in the non-con. And since we don't have post scorers and refuse to run off ball actions, they have to create themselves.

James & Simas are regressing which is one issue for sure. Wes hasn’t shown any ability to coach defense is another. But the lack of poise - that was simply a full game of what we saw in the first half vs AZ. Hopefully this isn’t the breaking point for the season, but it just might be.
