I have a hunch here. We’re dealing with something bad in the program and I don’t think the problem is Wes or John.

    I hope I’m wrong

Simas isn't the answer, he shouldn't even be a starter. Play the guys who actually tried, even if it was after WVU took their foot of the gas. Reed, Griffith, Day Day, Mitchell and Aziz and hope some other guys decide to start to care. Our offense sucks regardless of who plays anyway, so we might as well play the guys who want to defend and rebound.
I think we all saw when SL beat his man badly drew the rim protector and SL lobed it up for two. He was the only Cat able to do that.

Not sure what the locker room looks like at this point, but it seems like Wes has lost it.

There was a point in the second half where the announcers pointed out Wes was imploring guys to press on defense and they just sat back. I believe the same thing happened against Texas Tech.

We did get the press going with the Day Day, Reed, Griffith, Skillings and Mitchell lineup that made the late run to get us to a respectable distance.

It's time for Wes to say I'm going to play the 5 guys who play the hardest and if if anyone else wants minutes they need to match that intensity. If that means Simas, Jizzle and Skillings don't play and we lose by 20, so be it.

If not, he's going to lose the guys who are still bought in. Even Mitchell had a number of lackadaisical plays today.

He did change up rotations and starters some today, maybe the message will start to get through. Day Day and Reed should start next game, maybe even Griffith. I don't think Jizzle, Skillings or Simas belong in the starting lineup right now.

Other than Thomas and James, what other player on the team can bring the ball up the floor and initiate the offense without turning the ball over?

    Can Simas run the point?

No idea why Simas continues to get minutes. Completely unproductive player, playing at the wrong level. I hate being negative, but there isn't a single player on this team I'm impressed with or enjoy watching. Wes Miller is not the answer. Getting nothing out of these guys. He's a DII coach like Satterfield.

My wife played the point and she can't watch these guys even though an alum of the Grad school.

I didn’t boo these guys today, but lots of people did. I hate that, but you can’t blame anybody for doing it.

Good post stressing the need for a floor general. Concerning weak, I contacted Mike Rehfeldt -- No response -

Even under the killer b's it wasn't this bad -- Brannen, Baker , Badger -- throw in yates. We lived through it, but we shouldn't have too. Good facilities, good fans and a decent NIL -- The team must be better.

It's very obvious watching this group that they have no ability to finish with strength at the basket and through contact. I don't know how we got so weak but in this league given that and no ability to shoot 3's you get what we have gotten......the basement in the standings.

Terry said they have to scrap the entire plan and do something different because it isn't working and it can get worse.

    CWM post game interview, “disgusted”
with their play??? Hey coach, just now you’re disgusted”. What about the losing streak?
Why are you playing the same players if they’re giving the effort? This great program is now a joke.
