This is payback time. The Cougars embarrassed the Cats in Provo two weekends ago, 80-52. BYU shot the eyes out of the basket (28/49, 15/24, 9/11), while UC chucked up bricks all night. Aside from Simas, who hit 4 of 8 treys, the Cats went 23/61, 5/28 (1/20 by everyone not named Simas), 1/4.
It was a close game until the Cougars hit 5 late points before halftime, then lit up the Bearcats to the tune of 52 in the second half (including that scrub's trey at the final horn).
I expect a sizable contingent of BYU fans to attend. There were about 500 at the women's game last month. I just checked gobearcats.com, which shows there are 12 bench seats in the rafters remaining. I didn't see any reference to SRO availability.
I'll be there, looking for a repeat of the effort and overall performance that the Bearcats put in last night in Orlando. At present, this is a Q2 matchup for UC, as BYU stand at #35 in the NET.
