Usually I’m bummed when they lose their last game, this year I’m glad it’s over. This is the most disappointing season I can remember as a UC fan. UCF wanted this game far more, and that was obvious the whole game. Missed front ends, stupid technicals, turnover after a great steal in the last 20 seconds, all indicative of what we saw all year long. They struggled making plays that win games, made far too many stupid mistakes, and just not enough toughness to overcome opponents like they saw tonight.

One more thing. Aziz took exactly one shot in the game, a tip in on a miss. How can you win games when when your center cannot score? Please don’t bring another guy like that in from the portal.

I saw the same thing with Abaev. He seemed over-matched, not quick enough, and not confident enough to play with that level of talent. Those guys were running right by Abaev. Not sure what UC is getting in Abaev.
