I hope the Bearcats pull out the victory tonight. It is a daunting task and we will need to either make our threes or take most shots in the paint. We haven't had anyone consistently shoot well beyond the arc.

Tonight's game is more important for UC than for Louisville. This game is about whether UC can compete at the highest levels of NCAA basketball under Miller. The funny thing about UL's win over Kentucky is that Kentucky won many of the categories that are important for winning a game. Kentucky shot a higher percentage, outrebounded UL, had more points in the paint, and had more second chance points. Here is where UK lost the game: turnovers and fouls. UL turned UK over 14 times and scored 19 points off of turnovers. Also, UK went 21-31 from the free throw line versus UK 12-16.
Louisville won the Kentucky game with 11 steals (their season average) and turning UK over 14 times and getting to the foul line. I hope that Miller has taken note of this. Go UC.Comment
