The NIL helps CWM get them to UC but the transfer portal allows them to book at seasons end.
He got two highly ranked-- One Lance Stephenson who many backed off of and one who was injured and became scared ------- The schools backed off of him too. I saw him in HS -- he was weak and the guys on the opponent team who knew my son, said highly overrated .Jermaine Lawrence ----- I saw his fear in HS. Shocked that Mic took him. I guess he thought he would recuperate from the injury --- it was in the head.

There are exceptions, I know that. Lance was only here for one year and bolted. But MC did allow the Caliparis', Petinos, and others to intimidate him in recruiting. Mick did however excell at getting the most out of the players he did bring into the program. If only Miller had that characteristic in his DNA. But that is neither here nor there at this point right Leo. I'm going to cheer on my 'cats through the remainder of the season and see what transpires after it ends.

Rufus I don't think the 2 mentioned were really wanted by the major programs

CWM has NIL and the Big 12. Mick had a depleted roster, rose from the ashes and mostly improved every year. If Mick were coaching UC right now, I think the record would be much different.

We chanted "overrated" and stormed the court today, haha. Fine by me in a win against a top 2 team.

I didn’t. Hate the overrated chant, and too old to get down there. I’m still sitting in my seat.

As Dan Hoard pointed out after the game, UC beat a ranked ISU football team, UC women beat a ranked ISU basketball team, now the UC men's bball beat another ranked ISU.

I think we're all back to reality now. Once again Wes was out coached in the 2nd Half and had no answer on stopping Arizona.

As Sedz said, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then (Iowa St). The two game win streak was fun while it lasted.

The coach needs to go immediately. So that way we only have to replace the team and not hire a coach without any players again.

For those of you still watching this season. What keeps you watching? I stopped last season about halfway through. Watched a few games this season and saw that roster didn't matter with the same coaching. All of his teams look the same so it was pretty plain to me that they were not going to be very good and another lost season was on tap. I understand that I risk getting made fun of for not being a "real" fan but sitting and spending 2+ hours of my time just to be ticked off and miserable wasn't worth it. This season is lost. No tournament again. Next season will be a whole new roster with the same Coach, style, failures. What keeps you watching? I've been watching since the Tony Yates days. I loved the program but I'm not investing again until something changes.

love for the Cats and eternal hope - plus I like watching the game and venting on the forum while the game is being played.

I have season tickets and I enjoy going to the games. I can't bear to watch the away games on TV though. It's too painful. I know it does'nt make complete sense. As an aside... you would think UC would just stop introducing Wes before the game. He gets booed soundly every time. Maybe it is their way of payback for that massive buyout.
