The loss of an era occured the moment UC entered the B12. The powers that be went into this conference either clueless of the competition that exists in these conferences , which explains the hiring of coaches that didn't have the credentials or success in power conferences to direct this move. Or they went into it with big headed confidence thinking we would dominate like we did in the metro, USA and all the other previous conferences. Why would you hire generic, uninspired, and no name coaches to enter into your inaugural season of a designated power conference in college athletics.

As a sports fan and a homer of Cincinnati, we are at the most terrible time of the year. We just got affirmation that the Bearcats are not making the big dance again with the loss last night. We're stuck in our homes with frigid cold weather and expecting double digit snowfalls and the NFL is offering 4 teams that already have a combined dozen superbowl rings between them. Been there done that. Can anyone say boring! And to top things off the Reds have made no moves for a clutch/ power hitter. They're going into this season with the same team that barely made the playoffs last year, and no tv contract that would potentially obtain monies to even make such a deal, and if there were even a such a player available at a bargain price?

It could have been worse at the 16 minute mark of the first half Day Day on 4 consecutive plays 1. Missed a bunny 2. Tyler had to readjust due to the miss and fouled. 3. Day Day threw a to pass 4. Day Day gave up a three -- CWM yanked him and put in Tillery. He settled the team down before the lead got too much. Later on, nothing helped as the team was out hustled down both sides and was a step slow once down the court. Pitiful just Pitiful

I agree except Abaev was put in for a minute and gave zero effort. Tyler and Tillery gave it a try.

Eric Hicks please show up and give a physical coaching demonstration of what it takes to be a Bearcat.

At this point it doesnt matter who Miller plays because he's still coaching them and he's beyond awful. He gets beat by a coach who's likely gone at the end of the season with a team that's mediocre at best. In 5 years Miller has completely destroyed the Bearcat basketball tradition that Huggins and Cronin built.

When Eric Hicks comes, I hope he brings Steve Logan. We need to be reminded that guards can actually score-- NO FLOOR LEADER -- IT HAS BEEN THIS WAY FOR YEARS ------

Last year, I stopped watching in early February. This year, it’s a few weeks earlier. Wes Miller is so bad.

I will be at the game Wed vs Baylor. If they announce Wes again before the game I am convinced they are doing it deliberately to punish and humiliate him. Remember when Tuberville was on thin ice and some fan yelled at him " Tommy, you're stealing from this university!" and TT replied " You go to **** buddy!" He was fired shortly after that.Well "Wes, you're stealing from this university!"

OF course TT landed on his feet.

I have not renewed my football season tickets yet. My wife and I are still debating whether or not to. We could purchase individual game tickets cheaper than our season tickets. I am getting nearly daily emails from the Bearcat ticket office stating that they have extended their season ticket sales. I think that I am going to spend my time and money on the Olympic sports since I graduated out of one of those. I am going to start supporting more frequently the track and field team, baseball team, women's bball (they have heart), etc. Men's basketball and football are over. I have both my BS and MS from UC and I bleed the red and black but I am just so tired....

Wes will be gone when he doesn’t make the NCAAs this year. UC must hire a coach who can deliver results. Hopefully it gets it right.

Stopped before conference play. I'm not sure what anyone was expecting to change after watching non conference play. I don't even know when they play and my blood pressure is thankful.

I will see someone like Tony Pike posting on X and it's obvious they lost so I come on here to see what you all have to say.

If you are still watching, I will pray for you. Lol.

Something physical happened to Abaev. He spent a good deal of the game on the bike, then sat on the bench with his knee wrapped.
