Or they went into it with big headed confidence thinking we would dominate like we did in the metro, USA and all the other previous conferences. Why would you hire generic, uninspired, and no name coaches to enter into your inaugural season of a designated power conference in college athletics.

As a sports fan and a homer of Cincinnati, we are at the most terrible time of the year. We just got affirmation that the Bearcats are not making the big dance again with the loss last night. We're stuck in our homes with frigid cold weather and expecting double digit snowfalls and the NFL is offering 4 teams that already have a combined dozen superbowl rings between them. Been there done that. Can anyone say boring! And to top things off the Reds have made no moves for a clutch/ power hitter. They're going into this season with the same team that barely made the playoffs last year, and no tv contract that would potentially obtain monies to even make such a deal, and if there were even a such a player available at a bargain price?
I have the same thought. I believe most of the blame falls on Cunningham. For those questioning the buyout trade off, will keeping Wes affect future NIL contributions? Donations to the program? Everything should be considered at this point.

Yes. The longer Wes stays the more fan and booster support will decline. The buyout amount is manageable after this season and if they don't do it much more in $$ support will be lost due to fan apathy. I am also concerned that if JC is still here and makes the coaching change its not great because he is part of the problem.

OFF TOPIC WARNING: no mumbo jumbo b.s. on this, but the only bright spot that I see is the baseball program. they play a very entertaining, throwback type of game. They play hard. The weekday games are usually late afternoon, so I know that's hard for a lot of people to get to. But, I think Coach Bishel would gladly accept any funding / contributions he can get. Plus, if you have espn+, I believe that all of their games are on there. they're fun to watch.
