“South Florida head coach Bryan Hodgson has turned down the Syracuse job, source told @thefieldof68.

It’s likely that Hodgson will decide between Providence and staying with the Bulls - who have put together a lucrative financial package similar to what Josh Schertz received at Saint Louis in an attempt to get him to stay in Tampa.”

Hubert Davis at UNC's seat has been, I suppose, a little warm? Blowing a 19 point lead to VCU yesterday (think UC/Nevada) doesn't help.

Remember though, early in Wes Miller's tenure, when we were worried that if he was too good here and UNC struggled that he could bolt for UNC?

if we get Calhoun, will he be able to recruit big12 athletes into a system that im, admittedly, assuming doesn't offer as much "freedom"...

He isn't coming here to lose. If that was a fear, he would stick around USU until a job that doesn't require big 12 style players to come to him. They said that about Jamie Dixon too

Needless to say, if UNC comes open it will lead to a domino effect. If UC is set on Calhoun and Utah State falls to Arizona on Sunday, better move quickly.
