Is Mick Cronin’s seat getting a bit warm all of a sudden? UCLA is very bubbly / in jeopardy of missing March Madness and the sound bite machine that he’s become has taken a new turn — this is a far worse look than whatever Jerome Tang said after the KSU blow out vs UC.

I disagree. Tang said much harsher things about his own team. Cronin was discussing Michigan State’s students. He shouldn’t care at all about them. That doesn’t mean is seat isn’t getting warm but it is nowhere near as egregious as Tang’s comments.

Kansas State’s attempted for cause firing is based off Tang allegedly causing embarrassment to the university — I’m just saying that Cronin’s remarks seem more “embarrassing” and probably will go more viral.

Either way, as Trilly Donovan tweeted: “Mick Cronin answers questions like a guy who knows he’d be owed $22.5M if he got fired.”

That's a great quote from Donovan. But Cronin shouldn't care about Michigan State's students contrary to Tang, who should care about his own team. I guess we agree to disagree. I think it's a non-issue for Cronin.

Former UCLA coach Steve Lavin is out at San Diego (forgot he was there) -- still annoyed at that 2002 NCAA Tournament loss to the Bruins

Stokes grabbed a rebound at the end of regulation, had a chance for a put back, and was completely wrap around bear hugged, no foul called. One of the most obvious no calls in tournament history. UC should have won that game. Also, Stokes scored 39.

Stokes was an all time favorite player for me. I selected him for my team that year in an NCAA tournament pool and was very pleased with his 39 points.

It is a long podcast (30-minutes) but they discuss potential coaches for UC. They also discuss what it will take for CWM not to be fired.

I don't know about the rest of you all but I do not want Mick Cronin back as the head coach of UC's mens bball.

You need to get past the headline. These guys do not even have Cronin in their top five. To start the podcast, they make fun of Cronin's MSU comments. Then halfway through the podcast, they start talking about the candidates.
