I like what I'm hearing and seeing so far from the coaching staff and the player interviews I've seen so far. So I'm ready for the season to start as well. I just hope we won't have to suffer another sub mediocre football season before that

Eyes up - stopping the action enough to take a snapshot of the court and then processing the next move. That is an art and few have it. It can be taught I believe, but one must be ready and willing to learn. The right pass or separation of the floor is better than a so called "shot doctor".

UC beat Victoria 110-63. According to Keegan Nickoson, Victoria had 32 turnovers. Utah State transfers MJ Collins and Adlan Elamin had 15 and 14, respectively. Myles Colvin pitched in with 12.

What is it is Basketball and not jacking up shots.

"We want to be a high assist team, but we want to be an efficient team," Calhoun said after the game. "I thought we only took four or five bad shots. You get up by that many, you have a tendency to take a bad shot. That's the biggest thing I talk with the guy about is you've got to be an efficient basketball player." CJC

Do we have players wanting to be floor leaders and team players and not heroes?

I say wait until the Cats play some competition, but --------- so far so good. I like CJC coach speak better than what we had the last few years. "you've got to be an efficient basketball player." versus I'm pissed.
