Congratulations to Jurich on his "retirement" without cause. Sweet package.

Reading this and other stories on the situation, I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

UoL will probably be fine in the long run - it's amazing what can be accomplished when one has no shame.

Louisville settled with Tom Jurich for 4.5 million yesterday. UofL comes out looking pretty stupid on this.

This is slightly off the subject but Louisville might make the tournament as an at large this year. The cupboard wasn't bare but still you have to give some credit to David Padgett to come in and coach under these circumstances. Especially when he's knows he's toast after this season.

Now Quick Rick is telling UofL to sue the NCAA. I mean really! Why is anyone listening to him or quoting him? Him & Lavar Ball should never be heard of again!

Getting your *** fired by the Univerisity for cause seems like the more important penalty here. Pitino will probabaly have a show cause for multiple violations when this is all is done. This info was only regarding the punishment of the U of L itself through the NCAA.

They deserve what they got & maybe more after the FBI gets done with them. I hope both Quick Rick & Jurich lose their lawsuits & UofL wins their case against them.

They also vacated wins from 2011 through 2015, including their 2014 Final Four appearance.

Since UL's coach and AD are gone, it sounds like Louisville is going after the NBA.... https://www.cincinnati.com/story/spo...sel/340122002/

Now that Jurich is out of the way, an investment group is trying to bring the NBA to Louisville. Group is headed by Dan Issel.

Also saw something from Mark Ennis yesterday that indicated there's no way Pitino is going to win his coutersuit, but Jurich has a shot at successfully suing for his remaining salary. I'm not sure what that's based on since he was essentially fired for insubordination having refused to fire Pitino.

Louisville hired a private investigator to investigate Tom Jurich's background. Here come the lawsuits.

Interesting. Since the American is actually what’s left of the old BE, it seems it would be up to the American to decide. We should also follow the example of UCF and hang a 2012 Big East Champion banner in the renovated arena.

I should probably point out that no one has corroborated Dan Dakich's story. Dan is a media guy, not a reporter. Not to mention he's frequently full of it.
