I keep seeing that recruits are coming from Florida, Georgia, Tennessee - out of state. Is Satterfield recruiting Ohio and the Cincinnati area? One of the first thing Fickell did was to build a rapport with the local HS coaches and encourage players to stay home. Is Satterfield exploiting the local talent at all?

As for Cincinnati area recruiting, I think that will improve with time. Off the top of my head Ohio is fifth on the list of most D1 football players in the country behind Florida, Georgia, California and Texas which is a pretty good place to be for a state with a smaller population and size than any of the other four.

Fickell and Coombs both had pre-existing ties to the region and Satterfield doesn't so there's a learning curve there. Fickell and his staff also did a ton of recruiting in GA and FL. It's a hot bed of talent and reaching into the area is always a good move. I don't think this is a repeat of Tuberville's strategy even though the recruiting regions overlap a bit.
