Houston had them selves a scare at USF. They were down after 1 and at the half and scored 21 in the 3rd to take the lead despite two 100 yard Kick returns from USF's Brian Battie. Something to watch for us next weekend is that Battie hits the coverage at top speed and if he gets through the second wave of defenders he's gone. The kicker never had a chance to bring him down on either run.

It's almost like the UCF coaching staff under Malzahn is happy running off all the seniors a year early. That's got to be about 4 guys on offense since the beginning of the season.

Someone on Reddit pointed out that Houston has only lost to teams that were formerly coached by Tommy Tuberville this season, Texas Tech and UC. So guess who they drew for a bowl game? Auburn.

Holgersen just signed an extension at Houston. Looks we get to kick him around for a few more years. No contract deals yet but I'm sure Fertitta backed up the Brinks truck.
