MM was Bohn's head coaching hire at Colorado, started well and then fizzed.

Clemson OC Tony Elliott to Virginia. Both coordinators gone and a bad (for their recent standards) season for Dabo's squad. Will be interesting to see what is next.

Atlanta paper reporting UGA's DC Dan Lanning to become Oregon's head coach

Bruce Feldman: Am told by a source that the report that UGA DC Dan Lanning has been hired as the next head coach at Oregon is not true.

Saban wisely signed his lucrative contract extension before his team loses its next game. https://sports.yahoo.com/alabama-foo...184930136.html

I agree; a couple of years ago I read several articles that stated a reason for Clemson's success is that they kept their coaching staff intact. Continuing success is difficult; one needs a good coach and maybe more importantly, a really good QB.

Report: Ohio State Coach Ryan Day Linked To NFL Job

Ohio State Buckeyes head football coach Ryan Day has been linked to an NFL head coaching job. Day is coming off another strong season with the Buckeyes. Ohio State had a disappointing finish, losing to Michigan and missing out on the College Football Playoff, but Day has done a pretty tremendous job in Columbus. No way this is true. I read another article that basically painted this as speculation at most. Why would Day leave one of the best jobs in college football for any job in the NFL? The NFL is designed for parity with the hopes that teams finish within a couple of games of each other, which is not acceptable for its owners. He would be gone within 3 years when he can stay at aO$U for as long as he desires. aO$U has a virtual lock to the CFP every year. Hogwash, I say.

let him lose another to UM and then come back. Notice he quickly brought in a new DC to cool the jets of rabid fans. They don't take losing to their rival as easily as UC does.
