I guess it’s safe to say we are at the all time UC Football high point.
In regards to the modern era, I’m not going to pick the 81-0 loss to Penn State Penn State as the low point, as we rebounded the next week to beat Louisville. The low point, IMHO, was when UC lost to Morehead State, a D-1AA school around 1989 or 1990, at home, with a score of something like 28 to 20. There were probably 7500 fans in attendance.
What a difference 30 years makes.

The game was supposed to be in Terre Haute and I don't remember why it ended up not being played there. We lost that game 40-16 and the result of that game is what got Dave Currey fired. I had the pleasure of being there for that one. My memory is fuzzy on details but what few fans were in attendance had basically checked out and started socializing before half time hit which was a pretty common occurence in those days. The schedule from that season included 3 teams that are now FCS. We were Independent in football and in the Metro for basketball back then.
