Dropped out of the Top 25 to #29.

Houston is right in front of us. They also dropped out of the poll after going to overtime against UTSA and winning. BYU is the only non P5 in the poll this week.

Up to #27 this week. AP’s Ralph Russo took voters to task last saying that they dropped us too far after Arkansas and looks like they listened.

As it stands right now, we’d have to run the table and hope for an App State loss to get to the NY6 bowl.

I am still rooting for Are-Kansas to run the table and A&M to continue to falter. I think if we run the table, our loss to Are-Kansas will look better than their loss to NC. It starts this weekend when Are-Kansas plays A&M.

As for our Cats, one game at a time.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong... But I would think UC still needs to leapfrog BYU to have a NY6 slot. Of course, I may not really understand how it all works.

Cincinnati (60 votes). The defending AAC champs got ignored big-time since losing at Arkansas in the opener, but since then has played well against overmatched competition, most recently in a 45-24 win over previously undefeated Indiana. Ben Bryant has gone over 300 yards in 2 of his last 3, owns 11 TD passes and just 3 picks in an offense that places a respectable 14th nationally with 328.3 passing ypg and is good for 42.5 points per game.
