  • Tulane 11/25 12:00 TBA

At this point, ESPN hasn't announced the kickoff time for UC's game with Tulane on Black Friday. Per gobearcats.com, it will be at either noon or 3:30. I checked ESPN's Top 25 schedule for that day, and it shows two games without times: ours and Baylor at TX.

ABC will air NC State at NC at 3:30.

Win and UC hosts the AAC conference championship game and a New Year Bowl. Lose and we go home to a Loserville bowl.

Win the next game AND the conference championship game and UC will have a chance at a NY6 bowl. They have to win both to earn that chance.

Still undecided on the channel but It' looking like we will get ABC. The only other game of note in that time window is Texas at Baylor. Neither of those teams are ranked as of right now.

My understanding of what's in front of us is this: The winner of our game will host the CCG. The second team will be the loser of the game unless UCF beats USF and Tulsa beats Houston in which case the 2nd team would be UCF based on head to head results of UCF vs. UC /Tulane.

Rather than try and type all this out here's a good breakdown.

Line has opened at UC -3 which is weird considering no one knows who the QB will be for us at this point

Jerry Palm has us in the Cotton, but he isn't a quarterback.

Let's add two more home wins this year to keep the streak alive.

My hope is the 'Cats play a complete game - offense, defense, special teams - and play two consistent halves. They have yet to do that this year. Maybe this will be that game. I'll be there at Nippert pulling for them to clinch a spot in the AAC championship game.
